Well, what can I say... Since this product creates the mood to mention other reviews, both reviews for this product are wrong and right in their own ways (and of course, they are opinions, so feel free to ignore mine too).

Anyway, I find that this slide is actually quite small. It is loose fitting for my ring finger, but it is a bit tight on my middle finger. This depends on your style of course, and that is why they come in sizes.

As far as bending your finger or not, this is also a style issue. If you rest your guitar on your lap, then yes, you want the slide to go all the way down your finger (and tune your guitar in open D). However, if yo play it like a guitar, then you definitely want to bend your slide finger, so that you can still use your other fingers to finger chords or select notes. This slide is really meant for the second style.

Contrary to how the picture looks, this is clear glass. Things easily get stuck to it (oils from your hands, and dust), so make sure you clean it before using it. Also, this slide sounds exactly like a glass slide is supposed to sound (yes, there is a difference between glass and metal).

The best thing I can tell you is to get both, and test out which you like better, because as with anything with music, this all depends on your style and the sound you want to produce.
