They look cool, and sound cool. I actually bought them thinking they glow in the dark. That was a silly thought, but even without that, the strings are a vibrant Green, even in daytime. They look really cool under a black light, and if you're doing a show, ask the light tech guy(politely) to shine some magenta on you. It'll really stick out.

As far as playability goes:they work. Nothing sounds better then putting on new strings, but these have worked quite fine for my purposes, should work well for almost any style.

If you play alot,especially plectrum, you'll notice it will start to wear off. Personally i think it's kinda cool.

It may be a little less traditional then that plain steel you're often used to, but its a nice deviation.
