The wide shape and sharp tip make it easier to fast pick on my electric without sacrificing the Tortex feel that I like. This is a much improved feel over the standard shape Tortex which seemed to hang on to the strings too long for my taste. Sound might even be a little crisper/brighter with these picks, but that tends to be subjective.
