This summer, I took up the pastime of building simple string instruments. In my case, I am making two-string canjos. I wanted to have something better than wing-nuts and eye bolts, so I bought these. They are of good quality for such an endeavor. They are they same quality of ones that came on my kit banjo which have serve me well for two years of playing on the instrument.
My only problem, and thus the four out of five stars was that the package was short the screws. I only received 2 of the 12 required. The seller wanted me to return the entire package rather than send me more screws. I had to go to a hobby shop to find the small size of screws required. Hardware stores in this local do not handle the size required.
