John Pearse 700M Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings Review

I am very satisfied with the string set. If anyone wants to get a "woody" sound, this strings is the one. The only problem was that since the guage was (really) medium, it was a bit hard to play on. Espeically, the second string (.017) feels much thicker than other brands.

Guages: .013, .017, .026, .035, .045, .056

But, the sound was much better than thin light guage set. I am using these string after a disappoinment of Elixir Light Nanoweb 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, which give too much "twangy" or "jangling" sound. I also tried to record my acoustic guitar with the string set on. The sound was very satisfactory.

Since it is a bit stiff too play, I may experiment with other string sets such as D'darrio XPS or John Pearse 600M series (ligher version) in the future. But, the string set definitely is in my consideration for future use.
