I ordered this to replace a white pickguard on a custom shop Strat. The quality of the pickguard is great and it shipped well protected.

There are a couple things you should know.

First, take a close look at your Strat and make sure this is the right guard. I didn't measure the distance between the holes and I felt it was safe to assume that "Standard" meant that the pick guards and bodies were all measured the same. I was wrong. the mounting hole next to the center pickup is not in the same place as it is on my guitar (or previous pickguard). There is a difference depending on the year of your Strat. I'll take the blame for that one, only after ordering did I notice that the product description reads '86 to present.

The other thing you should know is that the middle layer of this 3 ply guard is white, and the edges taper off. This means that once this is on your guitar, your pickguard has a white border to it. It looks pretty good on my axe but I have to admit I was going for all black initially.
