Unlike other pedals, like the Dan Electo Corned Beef pedal, this sounds like a true reverb. I has a decent sound, expecially for the money. The only drawback is a level of hiss that seems a big high. However, If you're gign' people will be talking, clanking glasses, etc. So a bit of hiss won't matter. I wouldn't use this pedal for recording unless you use a gate with it. For the money it is a good deal, and isn't just a delay pedal masquerading as a reverb. It sounds like reverb.
