I haven't been playing guitar for very long, few months shy of a year, but these strings are awesome. The thickness of them isn't bad at all in my opinion, they didn't hurt my fingers after switching from extra lights.I play country music mostly, and if you do, these are GREAT strings for it! They aren't twangy, just deeper and richer toned than lights. I use em to do Johnny Cash covers and such. But these strings are great for any music you want most likely, unless you like the light strings sound. In my opinion, these are better than Cleartones I got a couple times that cost bout $15 each. These are the best strings for the price, ya they wear out in a couple months, but they're still well worth it.
