these strings look really, really cool. so i ordered 2 sets on amazon from 2 different retailers. i got a green set for a green bass, put em on, they sounded great. put the orange set on a black bass, again super cool looking. the A string from the orange set was dead right out of the pack.the other 3 strings were fine but the A was a clunker. called DR they sent a new one. used the other bass at rehearsal and the E string snapped at the bridge. not likely that the strings were from the same batch, since they came from totally different sources. i'm afraid i cant recommend this product, sorry DR, going back to rotosound.
