I purchased 3 sets of these for 3 different straps. First of all, they were too big to use on any of them. I actually had to cut the strap to make it fit. Then, once it was through, i realized that there wasn't enough thread to put the washer and nut on to secure it. It would probably work if you went out and bought thinner washers, because these ones are probably a good 4th of an inch thick. I finally forced it on with a lot of time and effort, and then it just fell off because the nut wasnt catching enough of the thread. The only reason i gave it 2 stars instead of one is because the locks are decent, but that doesnt even matter if you cant put it on the strap. Remember i tried 3 different straps, and it didnt work for any of them. Don't buy this. Even if it is only 4 bucks. I was disappointed, and you will be too. Just spend 5 more bucks and get a good set.

Planet Waves Basic Classic Leather Guitar Strap, White Review

Nicely made and a good value but it seems to be a bit stiff right now.
It is a single strip of leather with no padding.
Maybe it just needs to be broken in.
Compliments the color on my Lake Placid blue strat well.
For the record, this strap is actually quite long - even in the second strap hole.
I am about 5'9" and a trim 155 lbs.
At the shortest setting I can manage, the strap is too long to keep the heastock up effectively when I am sitting.

Update 2011-Jul-31: The strap is still rather stiff.
I will probably pick up a white cotton strap.
Those fit well and can be resized a lot more efficiently, in my opinion.
