I actually have a 6 string electric guitar and i tune to B (BEADF#B). I Think The .59 gauge for the low B string has very good tension and I'm glad that i don't have my low B string floppin around anymore with my so called "heavy gauge set" that i had on it before. But don't go overboard. Trust me, you don't have to be like the band Coal Chamber and get a freakin .70 gauge to have good tension.

Peavey KB 1 20W Keyboard Amp Review

I bought this to go along with a Yamaha Piagerro, for use at home, but was surprised to find it worked extremely well in my medium sized church and church hall (about 300 seats). In fact we had to tun the volume down for our talent show. Very exceptional sound reproduction. I would recommend this highly for home and small to medium venues. The 2 channels are nice as you can add a vocal mic as well.

Ernie Ball 2620 7-String Power Slinky Nickel Wound Set (11 - 58) Review

This is my first attemp at trying 11s. I ordered two packages like I always do hoping I would like it. Luckily I did. It is definitely a step up from the 10s. You gain more sustain, stability and tone. As expected, it will make your weaker fingers suffer on those bends until you get used to it. But no pain no gain right :)

No complaints. Will probably be buying these from now on.

Dunlop Tortex Jazz Pick Packs, Sharp/Medium (Pack of 36) Review

These picks are my go-to picks and have been for 20 years. The shape and size is absolutely perfect for precision picking and the coating provides a surface that is very slip resistant. You won't be dropping these during a performance for the most part.

I first found these picks when I was in music school and was using the standard, larger picks out there. I found that I was able to pick faster and with more economical motion with the smaller pick and was never able to go back to a larger size. I think that you will like these if you try them, but I can't promise that they are for everyone.

Pick choice is a completely personal thing, so you might not like the smaller size of these picks, but I cannot see myself ever using a different pick.

Sound fidelity is good. Gain distortion works well. Also used as a preamplifier to audio system amp with good results.

I wonder if there really is a difference in "Tube", "Metal", "English Channel", etc. sounds. Some listings show assorted types without ability to specify. This one said "Tube" and that's what arrived.

Note that batteries need to be replaced. I might prefer built -in Li battery, USB chargeable. Matter of personal preference, I suppose.

These are cool vintage tuners. I have these on 3 mexican strats. If you're putting these on a new neck or vintage neck or a neck with small holes for the tuners the bushings included will work. If on a modern neck ... for example mexican strat you need to order bushings from Stew Mac. I buy 10mm and10.5 and use the one that fit the best. It will save you time just to order both. The holes are drilled so different you don't really know which to buy. On two of the strats the 10mm were a little loose so i used a file to enlarge them and the 10.5mm were perfect. To align the tuners straight when screwing them to the neck, just butt a straightedge to the back edge on tuners and mark them with a sharpie, predrill and thats it.
