I actually have a 6 string electric guitar and i tune to B (BEADF#B). I Think The .59 gauge for the low B string has very good tension and I'm glad that i don't have my low B string floppin around anymore with my so called "heavy gauge set" that i had on it before. But don't go overboard. Trust me, you don't have to be like the band Coal Chamber and get a freakin .70 gauge to have good tension.
