For these particular buttons I used a 1/8 drill bit for the pilot holes. Snug fit but (IMO) not too tight.

For years I avoided using one of my favorite guitars in live performance because of chronic feedback problems. I had seen the Feedback Buster used by others, but just never got around to buying one. I can't believe I have now "fixed" my $1,000+ guitar for less than $10.

This product is designed and manufactured by Kaman Music Products, a sister company of Ovation. So it's a perfect, snug fit for my 1980s-era Ovation Legend, including the curved cutout to fit around the end of the fingerboard. I would expect it to also fit any acoustic-electric guitar with a standard size soundhole.

The soft rubber-like material would be easy enough to cut if minor customizing was needed. But for the price, it's definitely worth a try. But if you're looking for a perfect Ovation fit, as the saying goes, "don't settle for cheap immitations."

You can't go wrong with Boomers. They are bright but not harsh, and are consistent in manufacture, pack-to-pack. I've never been let down by these strings, for either my basses or my guitars. The red silk on these grips the machines well (and looks cool), and once they have been broken in they stay in tune. These strings are equally at home on a Precision or a Jazz. If you play a lot of mellow, upright-bass-style jazz, they might be a bit bright for you, but for 90% of what most people play, these strings deliver. I have an original '80s version of this pedal- not the reissue, but it's the same as I understand. This pedal has always been a permanant fixture on my pedalboard. I get complemented on my tone and I almost always have to attribute it to the small box RAT and low wattage EL84 goodness! It sounds good running into a solid state amp but it's pure bliss when you run it into a decent tube amp. Many rock and roll greats have used this pedal on countless recordings. Over the years, I'd managed to lose the battery cover. I shot the company an e-mail and within a WEEK they sent me a new cover- AT NO CHARGE. This was more than TWENTY years after I purchased the item. No questions about warantee info. No hassles about my store receipt. I'd call that INCREDIBLE customer service. Highly recommended!

Just a word of caution: even though the description say 'Features 1/4" plug', there is nothing about (or shipped with) this item that is (or has) a "plug". That would include any form of connecting cable as some past reviewers have indicated that they received with this item. It is just the footswitch with a built-in 1/4" *jack*. And I am fine with that since I already have several compatible cables. Plus it was 30% cheaper without one. Although the price has jumped 13.5% since I ordered it 6 days ago.

Other than that. It works as needed.

Gator 88 Note Keyboard Gig Bag; Slim Design (GKB-88 SLIM) Review

I purchased this bag as a replacement for a cheaper, lightweight gig bag that I purchased for 1/2 the price of this. Even though I 'babied' the old bag, the zippers failed after a couple of year of occasional use. Really, a waste of money.

I did a lot of research looking for a replacement bag that was lightweight, not too bulky, properly fit my keyboard, but was rugged and could stand up to abuse. Especially important were heavy duty zippers and decent handles.

This bag is 10x more rugged with very heavy duty zippers, but was only $50 more than the bag it replaced. It is well padded with padded straps to hold the keyboard in place, grips on the bottom, but not too heavy or bulky.

Large and small pockets in front are sized to be useful. Small pocket is mesh--good for the few small items you want to 'see'. Large pocket big enough for pedal, power supply, cables and a Real Book. Excellent handles are large enough for two hands and have large round rods embedded in them so they are comfortable to the grip. No shoulder strap, but such straps are impractical for 88 key boards--I never use one anyway.

The old Gator cases had a huge, ugly 'Gator' logo on the front--one reason that I chose not to purchase one earlier. This newer design a small, embossed logo. Much better looking.

Nothing is worse than gig bags that are poorly sized. Although slightly larger than my old bag, this is not too big (slim, 88 key size). My Yamaha P-140 fit snugly and the bag should be well suited to many similarly sized stage pianos.

So far, I'm very happy with this bag. A rugged, lightweight bag that is not to bulky, heavy duty zippers and a good value.
