This is it! For 20 plus years I have used and systematically learned to dislike a bevy of other brands for one reason or another, but after discovering Rotosound Yellow's a year ago, I'm consistently astounded at their longevity as well as inherent tone. For guitarists with a more acidic sweat, or those that REALLY play at least a few hours every day, these are a must-buy. As I have heard others remark- I do think the wound strings will lose their snap perhaps a hair quicker than some brands, but the mere fact that the higher strings never seem to corrode and get dark/sharp more than make up for the trade-off here. Also- the extra high E is a great plus for all of the wannabe blues benders that seem to snap alot of strings. All in all - vastly superior strings and clearly it would be most welcome to see these products at ALL of the small guitar shops and big box music retailers.
