Except for the thumb picks, all the rest are adjustable. I was amazed at how comfortable they are (even the thumb picks). Extremely well made and so comfortable it's almost no time in getting use to them and picking the banjo or whatever instrument you got. I had bought a set back in the 1970's and they irritated my cuticles and were shaped more like false fingernails. This set has the perfect curve over the finger tips. No hanging up on a string so the movement is just like fingertips.
