I really like the sound of these. I play blues and ragtime on a six string, a twelve string, and a reso. They sound clear and natural. They're large enough to fit my thumb without acting like a tourniquet. The only problem is that they're so thin that it's easy to knock them off your thumb. They bend very easily if you hit a string too hard. They open up and fall off. I've been tempted to modify one by gluing something thick to the back and over the curve but it's easier to grind down a thicker pick.

I don't understand the "too large" and "too quiet" reviews. They aren't as loud as say, an ultra heavy gauge flat pick, but they are as loud as my fingernails or any metal fingerpick I've ever used. They fit me just fine. My thumb is a bit larger than average but not at the left tail of the size curve.
