I just got this purse for my five-year-old daughter because we are starting her on a small allowance and I wanted her to have something to carry her money in when we take her to the store to spend it. I wanted it to have a long strap that can go over her neck so she doesn't drop/lose it, I wanted it to be light-weight and I didn't want a lot of bells and whistles. This little purse perfectly fits that bill. It just has the one pouch which is a perfect size for putting the money plus maybe a small bottle of hand sanitizer and/or lotion and maybe a small toy. The purse is cute - nice bright colors with sequins. I think my daughter would have preferred a Disney character or perhaps Dora, but this one will age with her for a while, even if she decides she's done with Dora. The craftsmanship seems reasonably durable, but I don't know that it would stand up to heavy use/playing, but for us that's not the point anyway. Recommended.

If you are looking for a high quality, musical set of strings that last long without being coated like Elixir's, then you should definitely give these strings a try.

I played 3 outdoor gigs recently using the Vibes (the medium gauge) and I noticed a couple of things. It's been hot and very humid here in New Jersey- right there that's gonna make strings go dead almost instantly. But not the Vibes. I was amazed at how they still maintained a bright sound after the beating I gave them. Compared to D'Addario strings which I have an endorsement with, my complaint over the years has beenthe bottom wound E, A D and the G go dead after a gig, even in cool weather.

Now these strings might be a touch more in price than others but, I would have had to change 3 times (I hate changing strings).

The only slight negative I have is the gauges are not listed the same as I'm used to. The medium is actually a Light Gauge 12- 52. So you would have to buy the Heavy Gauge for a set of Mediums (13-56), Just make sure you look at the gauges before buying.

If solid fundamental tone and durability is important, these strings are a definite cut above others that I've tried over the years. I'm impressed. 5 "Bright and Warm" Stars here.

TC Electronic PolyTune Noir Review

I moved my Tuner to my Effects Loop due to Room on my Pedal Board and being able to plug in my FX Send.
So my Boss TU-2 being a Non-TrueBypass Pedal, I was seeking a replacement.
After Reviews and Videos I settled on this (I actually have the Noir which is functionally identical to the White one)
First off let me say I think the People who cannot see this standing up should make sure they took the protective plastic layer off that comes from the Factory, because this thing is really easy to read. Granted the LEDs are smaller than the regular PolyTune, but I think it is quite easy to read and I am in my 40's so...

The Poly Mode is sweet. I keep mine in Eb which is as simple as using the button on the side and it remembers my selection. Strum All 6 Strings and you see which string is out of Tune. I was able to tune all 6 right from the Poly Mode. Strum one at a Time and it shows the note Eb and a Green Line for in with Dots to the Left or Right to show if you are sharp or flat. Being True Bypass I know it isn't adding anything to my Tone. Granted the Boss TU-2 is Buffered and pretty high Quality, but I like knowing that I can Count on True Bypass to be nothing more than a Switch Contact with no more resistance than the Cords I have in my Loop, keeping my Tone as True and Natural as Possible.

Before I give my review let me just say that anyone not taking advantage of the buy 2, get free shipping offer is crazy. I never realized that was available with Amazon until the guys at Vibe pointed it out on their product page. It just never occurred to me to do that even though Amazon says "free shipping with orders over $25". Just one of those things that gets over-looked I suppose. Saved me a packet. Anyway, these strings are awesome. I have a tendency to be really hard on strings and these things are taking a pounding and sound just beautiful while it happens. They feel great coming out of the packet (which has a pretty cool cover design if you ask me) and they still feel great weeks later.

I haven't broken one yet either which is really saying something. Their blurb say "stronger/less string breakage". Well, they aren't lying there let me tell you. Delivery was pretty quick even though I live out in the sticks a bit and the packets were clean and undamaged when I got them (as were the strings) so I was really happy with that. I've had the odd bad experience before buying strings online, but not this time. I've got a H.M.Tenada and the heavy strings are great for this (as they would be for say, a Washburn) but if you have a lighter body guitar you'd probably want to go for one of the lighter sets that these guys have. I'll probably gets some "lights" for my other noise maker.

Another thing I really like about these strings is that they hold a note forever and I'm already finding that I hardly ever have to tune them. New strings always seem to take forever to "bed" in but these settled in straight away. I'm definitely going to be getting more of these in the future. I almost didn't buy them because I'm a creature of habit and was going to get the usuals (won't say the brand because that's just not the way I roll haha) but I took a chance (the free shipping helped in that department) and now I think I've found a new favorite. Sometimes you've just got to take the plunge I guess.
