Martin Marquis 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings Review

I bought one of these sets, and I have to say, they're pretty good. They have a nice ring, and they're very bright. Not as bright as John Pearse, Ernie Ball, Elixir, etc., but still very very very bright. Sadly I didn't know the price here on Amazon was about $5 cheaper than the music store I got them from (they were $9, still good and about 40% off the retail price). If you're a beginner or someone looking for good strings that are cheap, I HIGHLY recommend these.

Yamaha YBA611 61-Note Artiste Series Nylon Keyboard Bag Review

This is only used to store the keyboard, not for pro travel and performance. I setup my keyboard about twice a month at friends home gigs or my house and play with my group. It only travels by car in the trunk and is always on top. Holds some stuff in the big pocket, the sustain foot pedal, all the cords and some papers. I think for the price its just fine.

Joyo JF-36 "Sweet Baby" a low-gain overdrive effect Guitar Pedal Review

I just received this a day ago and bought it on whim after being very impressed with the Joyo Crunch Pedal. This is (I think) based on a very expensive sweet honey drive pedal. It's supposed to be very reactive to your playing. Dig in and it puts out distortion, play soft and it cleans up. This is much more noticeable the cleaner you run your amp. I can say it's pretty reactive and feels like a very responsive tube screamer. I've heard some say they find the distortion from this pedal a little harsh but I find is wonderfully smooth with some grit. I found it really warmed up my sound in a good way. I'm playing an american strat with noisless Dimarzio Area pickups through a Vox AC15 and it's an awesome combo. I put this pedal in front of my OCD and I was really getting some sweet tones. If I had to play out with just my amp and one pedal for a little dirt this might win over my OCD. It's expensive for a Joyo but cheap for a really good OD stomp. It's definitely not for metal or heavier distortion stuff but it's got plenty on tap for blues and classic rock. So far I've been super pleased by Joyo pedals. The jury is still out on how well they hold but but they sure sound and perform pretty darn well.

Hi Musicians
I would like to take a moment and share with you my thoughts on the rubber picks known as Wedgie

I have been playing Bass since 1968 and still own the 2nd Bass I bought in 1969. I have no guitar experience and partly due to that I have never really used a pick. I do occasionally pick one up and fiddle about with it.

I saw the Wedgies a few months ago on Amazon and placed all three styles Hard, Medium, Soft in my wish list. I purchased them 3 weeks ago and have rarely put them down while playing, I have a 40 year old Felt pick and it is 40 because I rarely used it and it has always given that nice (non plastic) sound.

I will tell you that I am very impressed with the sound of Wedgie I am getting.... particularly from the Hard Wedgie and it seems the best for me and my playing, as I said I have not put them down and I usually play 3-4 hrs a day.
I do see the tip of it is getting worn a little bit. But of no concern I am sure it will last a very Very Long Time (many Months) I imagine it could get lost before worn out and the price is for 3 of them.

I will update it's useful as the years go by.

So if you are looking for a great deal on a great pick this is the choice, Wedgie!!

JJ tubes are my preferred tube manufacturer these days. They are reliable, well made, reasonably priced, and they sound very good imho. This preamp tube is a good choice if your amplifier has more gain than you need and you are looking to take it down a notch from what a 12AX7 is giving you. You can also use this tube to modestly increase clean headroom on some low watt amps. I used it to bring down the gain on an overdrive pedal that used a 12ax7. I bought this tube through Amazon with the vendor Musician's Friend. When the tube did not arrive, they sent a replacement via 2nd day mail. The original eventually made it's way to me and they told me to keep it- Thanks, Musician's Friend :)
