In my search for a good guitar polish that didn't have silicone in it, I came across Virtuoso Premium Instrument Polish & Cleaner Combo. After all the positive reviews this product was getting I decided to try some. The Virtuoso cleaner and polish combo does not have the terrible stuff called "Silicone" in it, so that was a plus right off. You start off with the cleaner, and following the normal application process the cleaner will remove all dirt and grime and foreign substances quite well. The cleaner works so well and puts such a nice shine on your guitar that you could easily stop right there and be happy. But use the polish! and you will be rewarded with a very nice luster, your guitars natural beauty will pop out, the guitar will look like it was meant to look.

Anything worth while usually doesn't come easy, so to do a proper job you will have to use some elbow grease. But that is what it takes sometimes to remove all the other silicone based polishes your guitar probably has on it, because almost all guitar polishes have silicone in them. Silicone is terrible for a guitar, do some research and find out why.

I have played a Martin D-35 for the past forty years and have had Marquis stings on her for most of these years. I don't change my strings often and actually enjoy the full, bass rich response of an older string. Anyway I decided to restring my guitar with these strings and what a disappointment. The tone was fuzzy and tinney, none of the rich bass sound I was used to (nothing like the older Martin Marquis sound). I waited a bit as stings do "mellow out"; the strings continued to be fuzzy in sound, they are now in the trash. I tried the Martin SP 7100/ Cleartone in the same gauge and the sound is much, much better; more percise and full. I hope they will mellow into the tone I love.

this amp is pretty great. it has a good whole sound to it. the effects are wonderful. remember when u get it, there are effects set on every setting (mode) CLEAN, CRUNCH, OD1, and OD2. but u can change them. u just put the effects a certain way on a specific setting (mode), press store and it keeps it like that. also if u don't want any effects on the different settings (modes), just turn the effects off when on a specific setting (mode) and press set. i just figured that out. i originally had a long paragraph explaining the negatives about this amp (the negatives only being the preset settings, nothing else) and had 4 stars voted on it. but it's definitely a 5 star amp. just remember, if u get it, don't freak out because everything on it has either reverb or delay, remember u can change it.
