DR Strings DSA-12 Coated Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, Light Review

I've played coated strings in the past with varying degrees of results. Some sounded duller than I expected, some sounded bright, but with little volume. Some last a long time, but with a price tag to match. I've had the Dragon Skins on for about a month. I'm really impressed by the sound these strings give. They are bright, articulate, don't get in eachother's way. I find I have to dampen the bass strings in some songs so they don't ring too long. The texture took a little time to get use to, and most manufacturers don't coat the unwound strings. My fingers seemed to drag while sliding to the upper frets. All things I'm getting use to. I'm heading toward the down side of the learning curve. I guess I'll have to wait to see how long they last, but so far they are my new favorite string.
