I love this tuner. Small and compact and super easy to use. After inserting the included 2032 battery, it turns on itself. Use the top right button to change modes from (c)hromatic, (g)uitar, (b)ass, (v)iolin, and (u)kulele. The manual does not give the legend for the symbols on the tuner, but you can guess what instrument is selected. What I like about it is that the background color of the tuner turns green, with the note and meter-needle clearly indicating the string is in tune. You should tighten and loosen the string a few times around the meter-needle to make sure that the string is tuned spot on.

I leave the tuner attached to the head of my ukulele.
