I bought Planet waves previous humidifier of this type and was happy with it. I saw the new one and wondered why they would change the water system as the old one seemed fine. More money? However, after holding out, I needed some new ones for my growing guitar collection and I must say, I like the new ones better. You no longer have to deal with that syringe to refill and they are easier to re-humidify. You do have to stay on top of them and refill weekly but that was the case with the other ones too.
I am happy and will get more as I have another guitar on the way!!!!! Free picks too (like I dont have enough!)
