I finally gave in and picked up a set of chrome screws for my non-black hardware guitars. I'd held off because I didn't like the fact that the chrome screws seemed to come in a variety pack, a pair each of 16 and 22mm screws, and a 3rd pair that defeats the point of the product entirely, with a traditional strap button making the locking mechanism sit out further from the body. However when the screws arrived, i discovered that the strap buttons are not permanently integrated into the screws, they are just a free spinning spacer that slides over the screw shank. So the pack actually has 2 pair of totally usable 22mm screws and a pair of 16mms. for less than price of 2 pair of the black ones, making this pack the way to go if you're on a budget and/or aren't picky about finish matching.
