My wife got me this pick for a stocking stuffer. It's not something that I would've gotten for myself, especially since I'd moved on to playing 5-string bass, but as it turns out this thing is great for my bass playing. There's an Incubus song in particular where I switch back and forth between finger playing and picking; with a whip of the wrist this leashed pick helps me go back and forth without spending half the song with a pick in my gob.

It has a nice feel on guitar as well; flexible, but the rubber leash firms up the attack. Hard to explain; just get one. Even if you think it's "meh", it's a conversation piece for your band mates.
